My Background

Professionally, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience as a certified public accountant, auditor and small business owner in the financial industry. I know how to lead a business with accountability, transparency, and fiscal responsibility.

Public service is at the heart of my life’s work. Early on, I started as a social worker and taught indigenous children in rural Alaska. After retiring from the private sector and creating a home in Troy, I became active within the community, serving on the boards of Unity House, the League of Women Voters of Rensselaer County, and as the President of the Justice Center of Rensselaer County.
